Take away from visiting speaker

The speaker talked about a lot of interesting and inspiring project ideas using the big data in some unexpected ways.

One example that she mentioned is an app named Follower. It gave the users the real followers accompanying them physically by tracking their location. This idea interests me since it brings the virtual experience to the real world. However, even though this idea seem to be interesting, the real followers actually seem to be useless. It is interesting to see the practical side in conflict with the innovation of the ideas.
