After watching Metal Gear Solid 2 and 4, I was first impressed by the complex process involved in making the game. It involves various components in building up the game. The building up of the scene from the field recording from the real sites it wants to show, the modeling, the mixing of the background music. There are also lots of thoughts and take aways to be put into the games. It can be a reflection from the maker, the message he wants to give away. A good game is not soulless or just for some battles. It contains stories and the things that it wishes to carry away.

The Metal Gear Solid 2 is more about building up the game. The Documentary for Metal Gear Solid 4 however, is more about improving the previously made product. After the game is mostly build up, the company continues to ask people to test out the game through playing it for the whole day. The errors will occur if they encounter any problems and give space for improvements. Also, the developer will also keep testing the games themselves and find out the problem and redo the production process. It shows that the process of testing the users is as important as the process during the production as it allows the game to reach perfection. I will encourage me to make my design process more complete by involving more of the user testing and improvement process.
