VIDEO MAPPING PROJECT: DANCING BUGS

The intent of this work is to imitate the idea of the beehive and project various insects to fit into different cells. They will dance and move following the music as if they are a group of performers. Further expectation will be making the movement of insects corresponding to the movement of audiences in front of the installation. The “beehive” is made of layers of egg holders spraying with white paint. Each shell is covered with paper cut by laser cutting to imitate the projecting platform. Each insect in the video is edited individually to have different movements corresponding to the music.
